1. What qualifications do I need to attend courses at the Academy? No formal qualifications are required but an interest and passion for drama is expected from students.
2. Does the Academy offer scholarships and bursaries? The Academy has in place a scholarship programme for exceptionally promising individuals. Each case is taken on merit and applicants are advised to contact the Academy on 020 7979 2015 for further information. 3. Are there any acting workshops in the evening? Yes, there is a six week Intensive Acting & Voice Course available in the evening.

6. If I don't have any acting background, can I still apply? We welcome anyone from any background. You will find that in reality most people do not have an acting background, so you will be amost equaly minded and capable people. It is our job to train you.
7. Can I visit, have a look around and speak to students and staff about the courses? Unfortunately, due to the high level of interest in our acting courses we are unable to offer open days. However we are able to offer One Day Acting Course.
8. When is the deadline for applications? Applications and full payment must be received before the course commences. Our courses are very popular and spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore the sooner we receive your application and payment the more likely you are to secure a place. We prefer to receive applications a minimum of 5 days before the course start date; however in exceptional cases we will accept applications on the first day of the course.
9. What is the age limit? We have courses available for children aged from 6 years old. There is no upper age limit for our training for adults. Students are expected to be capable of managing the physically demanding nature of our training. 10. What qualification will I get? Our short courses are unaccredited. An actor’s certificate is presented to each student who completes the course.
